Jennifer has a passion for capturing and telling stories, then sharing them with the world.

She currently works as a weekend morning anchor and lifestyle reporter for YNN Austin where she has weekly segments on parenting, do-gooders, and her favorite– Highlighting foster children waiting to be adopted.

She moved to Austin in 2008, after working as a reporter for KTVX in Salt Lake City.

An Atlanta, GA native, Jennifer Borget began her broadcasting career at KCSG in 2005 as a reporter and TV show host. While in St. George she reported on the rise of polygamy and issues around the unique culture.

She started her career in Utah but she’s developed and honed her skills and new passions in Texas. Late 2008, her passion for writing inspired her begin a blog and dive into social media. Since then she’s appeared on the Today Show, been featured on Mashable and The Huffington Post, and landed positions blogging for popular sites like Parenting.com and BabyCenter.com.

At her day job, she uses social media to break news stories and connect with viewers and readers from around the globe. On her popular parenting blog, she’s partnered with prominent brands such as Hallmark, Samsung, Windows, and HP, to promote their companies’ products through interactive and exciting social media campaigns.

Finally, her passion for photography–Sparked by her own children, inspires her to capture life’s moments and people’s stories in a photo-documentary style; both in still and motion formats. Her photography business: Jennifer Borget Photography and Videography, caters to families and organizations looking for a dynamic a one-woman-show for video production.

Jennifer received a B.A. from Brigham Young University, where she studied Broadcast Journalism. While there, she achieved a long-standing goal to earn enough scholarships to pay her way through college as a first-generation graduate. The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation awarded Jennifer a $20,000 scholarship for her outstanding work in broadcast journalism. She is also an Ed Bradley Scholar.

In her free time Jennifer enjoys hanging out at the pool with her family, reading almost anything, and using Pinterest to help hone her domestic skills.
